Helping to support charities
In honour of our beautiful Matilda, we support a range of charities through small regular donations, effective marketing campaigns and the desire to make a difference in her memory.
Our story
Matilda Pritchard dreamt of a world without rubbish. Regularly picking up litter in her local Pudsey parks, she found joy in seeing a clean space after her efforts, and Matilda’s dedication didn’t go unnoticed. In 2023, she was over the moon to receive a Blue Peter green badge for her efforts.
Sadly, on April 3rd, 2024, Matilda passed away peacefully in her sleep, from an undiagnosed heart condition.
Her parents Anna and Steve originally created Matilda’s Legacy to raise funds for charities with causes that were close to Matilda’s heart. The first campaign successfully raised £42,000 for Keep Britain Tidy through JustGiving.
The family are now looking at ways in which they can support charities that help children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
